Falcons Head to Central Michigan for MAC Championship on Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio –  The Bowling Green gymnastics team concludes the regular season on Sunday when the Falcons head to East Lansing to face Michigan State. The meet will start at 2 p.m. inside Jenison Field House.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team heads to Mount Pleasant, Mich., on Saturday as Central Michigan hosts the 2025 MAC Championship. The meet to crown the league champion will start at 2 p.m. at McGuirk Arena.
 
MEET INFO
• Live results and live video are available via BGSUFalcons.com.
• The meet will air on ESPN+ which a subscription is needed.
• BGSU will be on vault in rotation No. 2, bars in rotation No. 4, beam in rotation No. 5 and finish on floor in rotation No. 7.
• BGSU will have a bye in rotation No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6.

IN THE RANKINGS
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 58 in the nation per Road to Nationals. Ball State is ranked No. 45, Central Michigan is No. 36, Eastern Michigan is No. 51, Kent State is No. 43, NIU is No. 56 and Western Michigan is No. 46
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 54 on vault, 56 on bars and floor, and No. 66 on beam.

MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Bowling Green has won four MAC team championships, with the last coming in 2002.
• Bowling Green has 16 different Falcons who have won MAC Individual Championships with the last being Kathryn Weilbacher on floor in last year's championship.

LAST WEEK 
• BGSU traveled to No. 8 Michigan State.
• BGSU's Megan Bingham finished third in the All-Around and Kayla Shaw continued to shine on floor as the first year secured her sixth 9.8 or greater score in the event this season.  
Katrina Mendez Abolnik continues to be strong on vault anchor with a 9.775. It is her fifth event with a 9.775 or great this year out of nine events.
• In addition to Shaw's strong floor routine, Bingham, Madison Coburn, Keira Thornton and Landyn Williams all scored 9.750 or higher in the event.
