Falcon Gymnastics Heads to Mount Pleasant for a MAC Meet Against Central Michigan

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team returns to action on Friday night when the Falcons soar north to face Central Michigan at McGuirk Arena. The meet starts at 7 p.m.

IN THE RANKINGS
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 56 in the nation per Road to Nationals. Central Michigan comes in at No. 50.
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 47 on vault, No. 48 on bars, No. 52 on floor and No. 61 on beam
• Central Michigan is No. 26 on bars, No. 37 on floor, No. 59 on vault and No. 59 on beam.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES
• BGSU has dropped eight in a row to CMU and the all-time record against the Chippewas stands 41-16 in favor of CMU. BGSU's last win against CMU was in 2018 at Anderson Arena.
• Central Michigan Chippewas took both 2024 meetings, with each team hosting each other once.
 
CENTAL MICHIGAN
• Central Michigan is 1-1 on the season with a loss coming at Minnesota in the season opener. This past Sunday CMU won a home meet with West Virginia. Luciana Alvarado-Reid was named MAC Gymnast of the Week for her efforts against WVU after scoring a 39.200 in the All-Around. 
 
LAST WEEK
• BGSU dropped the season opener at Eastern Michigan in head coach Brittney Emmons BGSU debut.
Megan Bingham appeared in the All-Around for the first time in her career and finished at 38.950, finishing second and only behind EMU's Raisa Boris (39.075), who overtook her in the final rotation. • Love Akpan's bars score was a PR 
Megan Dzialo appeared on vault for the first time in her career (9.675). 
• Dzialo also appeared on floor for the first time in her career (9.750).
