Falcon Gymnastics Heads to Mount Pleasant for a MAC Meet Against Central Michigan

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team returns to action on Friday night when the Falcons soar north to face Central Michigan at McGuirk Arena. The meet starts at 7 p.m.

• Bowling Green is ranked No. 56 in the nation per Road to Nationals. Central Michigan comes in at No. 50.

• BGSU has dropped eight in a row to CMU and the all-time record against the Chippewas stands 41-16 in favor of CMU. BGSU's last win against CMU was in 2018 at Anderson Arena.

• Central Michigan is 1-1 on the season with a loss coming at Minnesota in the season opener. This past Sunday CMU won a home meet with West Virginia. Luciana Alvarado-Reid was named MAC Gymnast of the Week for her efforts against WVU after scoring a 39.200 in the All-Around.

- Coaches Show To Feature Simon, Emmons Monday NightBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Jan. 20) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. The "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker will begin the show remotely with a pre-recorded session with head men's basketball coach Todd Simon at 6 p.m. due to men's basketball travel. The show will continue with the second guest in-person at 6:30 p.m. Head gymnastics coach Brittney Emmons will join Kevin Piel for the second part of the show, live at Fricker's where fans can watch live.
- Bingham Wins All-Around as Falcons Fall at Central MichiganMOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons fell at Central Michigan, 193.225-189.975, on Friday night at McGuirk Arena. Megan Bingham led BGSU by winning the all-around with a score of 38.425. Bingham took the crown in just the second meet she has competed in the All-Around in her three-year career.
