TOWSON, Md. – The Bowling Green Falcons gymnastics team put together a strong performance in its first quad-meet of the season, hosted by Towson at TU Arena on Saturday night. FROM THE LOCKER ROOM
"Today we worked hard to battle through adversity. While we may have come up short on bars, there was a lot of good gymnastics that happened today. Being able to start the meet on beam and see the confidence build is a piece we have been continually working on in the gym. We saw some of the detail work with focusing on our sticks and cleaning up our skills and I'm proud of that detail work. We will get back in the gym next week and make sure we continue to work on our consistency and confidence to be back home for another MAC battle." - Brittney Emmons, BGSU gymnastics head coach
NEXT UP
• BGSU returns home for a dual meet against MAC foe Western Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. The meet will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day and serve as the team's Think Pink meet in support of breast cancer awareness.
