BGSU Announces 2025 Gymnastics Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The 2025 Bowling Green State University gymnastics schedule has been released, as announced by BGSU head coach Brittney Emmons. The 2025 season marks the first for Emmons, who was hired as the fourth head coach in program history in August.
The 2025 schedule includes four home dates, all of which will be contested at the Stroh Center.
"I am very excited for this upcoming competition season," said Emmons. "Kicking off the 2024-2025 competition season with the Orange & Brown Intrasquad on December 16 in Anderson Arena will be an exciting step for the community to come out and see how much work these athletes have been putting into their training. We then have some great opportunities to travel out to the east coast and compete against some teams we typically do not get to see. These meets will be very fun, energetic, and highly competitive. It is also exciting to host Wilberforce as they embark in their inaugural season. Make sure to mark your calendars and let's be ready to pack the Stroh!"
"The 2024 gymnastics schedule has set our program up for a fantastic season," said Turner. "Perhaps the most exciting piece of this is that our home competitions will be hosted in the Stroh Center, a premier facility for the student-athletes and the fans.
The home meets are against Southeast Missouri State and Central Michigan (Jan. 26), Ball State (Feb. 2), Western Michigan (Feb. 16), and Kent State and Wilberforce (March 2).
The road meets are at Eastern Michigan (Jan. 12), at Central Michigan (Jan. 17), at Towson with Illinois State and William & Mary (Feb. 8), at Temple (Feb. 21), at Illinois State with Central Michigan and Centenary (Feb. 28), at NIU (March 9) and at Michigan State (March 16).
The MAC Championship is at Central Michigan on March 22.
