BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green University women's soccer team moved to 2-1-0 on the young season with a 2-1 win over Cleveland State University on Thursday (Aug. 21) at Cochrane Stadium.

Juniors Emma Stransky and Gabby Lamparty had the Falcons' goals, with Lamparty's coming just 64 seconds before halftime to give the Orange and Brown a two-goal advantage.

Mayra Sesmas found the back of the net for the Vikings (1-2-0) in the 72nd minute, but her goal was not enough.

Sophomore Payton O'Malley made five saves in goal for the Falcons, while Hayleigh.Lewis, a BGSU transfer, had five stops for the Vikings.
