LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A plethora of Bowling Green State University softball student-athletes have been recognized for their success in the classroom as well as on the field. No fewer than 18 Falcons have been named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2023-24 academic year.
That lengthy list includes Lexi Carver, Ashley Chevalier, Delaney Davis, Peyton Dolejs, Mackenna Fry, Marti Henkel, Katie Hutter, Cameron Kaufman, Mackenzie Krafcik, Addie Martin, Aaralyn Nogay, Ellie Price, Wynnie Reid, Alyvia Roth, Peyton Steffes, Taylor Turner, Reagan Williamson and Madi Young.
Additionally, with a GPA of 3.57 for the 2023-24 academic year, the Falcons were ranked among the top-100 Division-I schools in the nation.
A total of 8,054 collegiate student-athletes at all levels (NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and USCAA and Junior College) captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2023-24 academic year.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories.
The NFCA's announcement continues a year of tremendous success for the program in the classroom. Earlier this summer, a total of 10 Falcons were named to the Academic All-MAC Team.
