BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – BGSU Athletics unveiled its priorities today for the annual Bowling Green State University "One Day" of giving campaign to be held April 3-4.
Each year, the Bowling Green State University community comes together to celebrate BGSU One Day – the University's dedicated day of giving. This 36-hour online fundraising effort has continued to inspire Falcons to give back to their favorite BGSU program, college or area of interest and empower life-changing opportunities for our students.
During last year's One Day, Athletics raised $658,000 from 1,607 gifts. Though the One Day concept is rooted in the goal of donor participation at ANY level, this year's Athletics goal is $750,000 raised and a very aggressive goal of 1,000 unique donors.
Falcon Club members are reminded that you can fully renew your annual membership gift during One Day and receive the benefits of Falcon Club membership for the 2024-25 academic year, including, but not limited to, parking privileges for 2024 Football and 2024-25 Basketball and Hockey season ticket holders.
Additionally, this year all BGSU sport programs are listing 2-3 immediate needs on their giving pages to encourage gifts to individual sport enhancement funds. While these gifts will not count towards Falcon Club membership for 2024-25, these gifts can provide support for critical and immediate program needs above and beyond operational budgets. For fans or letter winners of specific teams, or for donors who do not utilize Falcon Club benefits, this provides an avenue to participate on One Day and contribute to the success of an individual sport program.
HOW TO GIVE
Between now and April 3, you can give to One Day by clicking here on our official landing page and choosing which fund you would like to give to. Each fund is listed with the 2-3 immediate needs by each program.
