27 Falcons Named to Academic All-MAC List

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2023-24 Swim and Dive Academic All-MAC Team today. A total of 158 student-athletes were named to this year's group including 27 Falcons.
The Falcons had the second most student-athletes behind only Miami with 29. This is the third consecutive year the Falcons have had more than 20 student-athletes named on the list. To qualify for Academic All-MAC a student-athlete needs to have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for the given sport while also being at their respective schools for more than one year.
Of the 16 student-athletes across the Academic All-MAC List three are Bowling Green Falcons. Graduate student Julianna Petrak led the way for the Falcons as this was the fourth time she was named to the list in her collegiate career. For seniors Rayah Blood, Livia Castro, Namie Edge, Karen Krosky, Ava Vial, Gabby Vitela, and Mary Ellen Wolff this is the third time they have been named to the list
