Bowling Green Tennis Releases 2025 Spring Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Tennis program and head tennis coach Mike Bonnell has announced the schedule for the spring season. The Falcons are slated to play 22 matches this season, including 10 Mid-American Conference contests. All Mid-American matches are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. 10 of the 22 matches will be hosted by Bowling Green. Outdoor matches will be held at Keefe Courts on the BGSU campus. Indoor matches will be held at the Perrysburg Tennis Center. Admission is free for all matches.

The Falcons are slated to play 22 matches this season, including 10 Mid-American Conference contests. All Mid-American matches are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. 10 of the 22 matches will be hosted by Bowling Green. Outdoor matches will be held at Keefe Courts on the BGSU campus. "With six newcomers, the fall was all about assessing our talent, educating our team, and getting them ready for what will come in the spring," said Head Coach Mike Bonnell. "The fall is typically filled with individual tournaments. Starting in January, everything will be dual matches (one team against one team). We will be ready to play in the season opener on January 24th!"
 
"The MAC will be tough as ever this year," said Bonnell. "Our returners know exactly what to expect and our new players got a pretty good sampling of it during the fall. We look forward to seeing what we can do this spring!"
 
The Falcons start the season on Jan. 24 with a 1 p.m. match against the University of Indianapolis. They will follow that with a Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. match hosting Holy Cross. BGSU will travel on the road for three matches on Feb. 2, Feb. 7 and Feb. 9 against the University of Findlay, Eastern Illinois and Bradley, respectably. The Orange and Brown will return home on Feb. 14 for a 1 p.m. match against Youngstown State. 

Notably, the Falcons will begin the month of March with two matches at 3 p.m. and 12.pm. against Saginaw State and Loyola University Maryland in Florida on March 3-4. BGSU will take the week off before returning home for their final non-conference opponent on March 14 at 1 p.m. against Oakland. 
Bowling Green will open MAC play with a home match against Buffalo on March. 16. The Falcons will travel the following weekend with a March. 21 matches against Miami (OH) and a March. 23 against Toledo for the first part of the battle of I-75, both are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. 

The Falcons will open the month of April with two home matches against Northern Illinois and the second half of the battle of I-75 against Toledo on April 4 and April 6 . The following weekend, BGSU will travel to Ball State and Eastern Michigan on April 11  and April 13. Bowling Green will close out the regular season hosting Western Michigan on April 18 at 1 p.m.
