Clemens Finishes first in Draw, while BGSU Tennis completes Eastern Michigan Invitational
YIPSILANTI, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons finished competing at the Eastern Michigan Invitational on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Sophomore Tia Clemens finished first in draw D with a defeat of Lydia Foster of Youngstown State. Also, Freshman Sumejja Plicanic finished first in the singles round robin finishes 2-0 after a second-round win over Lily Tria of Eastern Michigan and a third-round bye. Additionally, multiple Falcons finished in second place in their draws: Isabella Baker in singles and Brynn Chaffee/Isabella Norris in doubles.

"This weekend, at Eastern Michigan, provided a great start for the competition phase of our fall season." said Head Coach Mike Bonnell.
"These events give us a chance to see how the newcomers handle pressure, respond to coaching, and face some very tough opponents. Overall, I am very happy with what we accomplished "
