Bowling Green Tennis Splits Weekend 1-1 with Loss to UIC Flames

HOMEWOOD, Ill. – The Bowling Green Falcons split the penultimate weekend in the month of February with a 6-1 loss to the UIC Flames at the Homewood Flossmore Racquet & Fitness club on Sunday afternoon.
In singles, the Falcons fought hard and forced a third set in No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 singles after losing the first set. BGSU was able to pick up a point in the No. 3 singles from sophomore Qianyu Liu by a score of 3-6, 6-1, 7-6.
