"If you're chasing a personal best, a collegiate record, or even a national record, this is the place to make it happen!"

Graced by a backdrop of Southern California's stunning Azusa foothills at Cougar Athletic Stadium over 2,200 miles away from Bowling Green, "the nation's fastest and largest collegiate meet" provided a picturesque yet competitive site for Kylee Cubbison to attain another BGSU program record.

Under a setting Golden State sun on a cool Friday evening, the junior ran the fastest 1,500m time in school history (4:19.19) and placed 24th overall in the invite section of the event in a field of 142 runners.

The mark broke teammate Kailee Perry's record of 4:21.99 set in 2022 and was the fourth individual one set by Cubbison this track & field season (indoor mile/3,000m, outdoor 5,000m).

Freshmen standouts Reese Reaman and Rachael Hoover also had fine performances in the event. Reaman (4:24.46) and Hoover (4:24.84) became the fourth and fifth fastest performers, respectively, in BGSU history while finishing top 100 overall in the race.

On Wednesday, Rachael Withrow's 34:38.04 in the Open B section of the 10,000m was good enough for third place overall as well as the third quickest time in BGSU history.

It was the fastest any Falcon 10,000m athlete had ran since Rachel Walny's 34:19.02 at the 2018 NCAA Championships.

Additionally, Regina Rose came in 10th in a time of 35:12.80.

Madison Foster's lifetime PR of 17:23.82 in the 5,000m's Open C section and Reaman's 2:10.21 in the 800m invite wrapped up the Falcons' performances the day before on Thursday.
