FINAL RESULTS

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Rachael Hoover and Reese Reaman were ready.

Pacing back and forth with determined looks on their faces before their respective races, the two freshmen ran top 10 times in program history to lead BGSU at Eastern Michigan's Bob Parks Memorial Invitational.

With natural sunlight beaming in from the windows surrounding the Bowen Field House during the mile, Hoover, who made her collegiate indoor debut, led all freshmen in the race with a time of 4:56.09, which was the ninth-fastest in BG history.

Hoover joins Reaman and Kylee Cubbison as the third runner to achieve a top 10 mark in the event in program history this season.

Five events later, it was Reaman's turn – this time in the 800m.

Running on the green track with a banner that read "Tradition of Champions" on a wall in the background, it was a championship-level effort, as she ran a mark of 2:09.51 which was the third-quickest time in program history and best since Libby Mitchell's 2:11.94 in 1999.

Reaman finished second in the race only to Natalie Cizmas, an unattached EMU alum who was the 2017 MAC indoor champion in the event.

Hoover (2:16.23), who also competed, finished fifth.

Bianca Staples was the only winner in any event for the Falcons, as she tallied a mark of 12.24m in the triple jump. Sabrina Imes (12.18m) came in third and additionally finished sixth in the long jump (5.32m).

Tyyetta Herman placed in the top 10 in both the 200m (26.07) and 400m (1:00.52), while Madison Foster finished in eighth in the 3,000m (10:25.98) to round out the running events.

As for the throws, two weight throwers ended in the top half of the field – Grace Bradtmueller (15.60m) and Sierra Brinson (14.96m). Lane Anderson (13.46m), Brinson (13.06m) and Jenna Lucas (12.90m) each finished in the top 10 in the shot put.

Lucas, who competes in multi events, notched sixth in the high jump (1.55m) as well.
