FINAL RESULTS

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – With about 10 meters to go in her mile race at the Meyo Invitational, Reese Reaman was already smiling.

The talented and jovial young freshman looked up at the clock above the finish line inside Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Center, realizing that she had broken the BGSU program record in the event.

She ran a time of 4:46.40, placing eighth overall and breaking Hanane Sabri's record by just 0.23 seconds set back in 1999. Reaman also broke her previous PR by over 10 seconds.

Nine events later – in the 3,000m – it was Kylee Cubbison's turn to make history.

The junior did not need any luck of the Irish to "Race Like A Champion Today," as a blue & gold sign hanging high above the track exclaimed. She crushed the program record, running in a time of 9:25.00 placing 14th overall to break teammate Kailee Perry's previous mark by about nine seconds.

The sprints group had a very productive day as well, with DaMya Barker and Morgan Patterson both qualifying for the finals of the 60m hurdles that aired on ESPN+. Barker came in second with a mark of 8.55 seconds, which established a new PR becoming the fourth-best performer in the event in program history. Patterson notched seventh (8.78).

Kiersten Franklin also qualified for the final in the 60m, but did not start as she focused on the 400m championship race that took place one event later. The junior placed third in the race (55.62).

Trista Fintel once again led the throws group with a season-best toss of 18.95m in the weight throw that was good enough for second overall in the event and the eighth-best performer mark in BGSU history.

Fintel was bested by Rachel (Tanczos) Richeson, who was an unattached former Notre Dame thrower and the 2019 ACC indoor champion in the event.

Grace Bradtmueller (16.90m) and Kami Baker (16.31m) also enjoyed PRs in the weight throw and placed in the top six.

Running in Reaman's mile race, Rachael Hoover (4:53.72) became the sixth-best performer in program history in the event. Raegan Burkey (2:17.51) competed in the 800m, while Reagan Campbell (57.80) placed 10th in the 400m.
