BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – For the 19th consecutive year, the Bowling Green women's track & field team has been named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Falcons posted a 3.69 cumulative grade point average, tying for the 10th-highest GPA among all NCAA Division I track & field programs.

The 3.69 GPA also ties the program record set by last year's squad, marking the highest team GPA for Bowling Green since at least 2007. The Falcons once again ranked among the nation's academic elite while maintaining the top GPA in the Mid-American Conference.

In addition to the team recognition, four Bowling Green student-athletes earned individual All-Academic honors from the USTFCCCA: Kylee Cubbison (Health Science), Trista Fintel (Master of Social Work), Katherine Mendenhall (MBA), and Bianca Staples (Pre-Exercise Science). All four met the academic and athletic criteria established by the USTFCCCA, which includes maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and qualifying athletically through NCAA competition or national rankings during the 2024 indoor or outdoor seasons.

To be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honor, programs must hold a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher among all student-athletes who competed in indoor and/or outdoor track & field.

The Falcons' consistent presence among the USTFCCCA All-Academic honorees reflects the program's strong commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics.
