BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Tuesday afternoon (June 16), 11 members of the Bowling Green State University athletics department were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). For Bowling Green, the Falcons had six men and five women earn the recognition across the at-large eligible sports.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- In a year full of countless great stories for Bowling Green State University Athletics, one of the biggest of the season was not just one victory, but a collection of them. In the first edition of the new Fremont Federal Credit Union Battle Of I-75 Rivalry Series, Bowling Green claimed an 81-60 victory over Toledo.  Eight Falcon teams either claimed head-to-head victories or outperformed the Rockets in their respective MAC Championships. BGSU Athletics is incredibly grateful to Fremont Federal Credit Union for their role in the creation of this new series.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday (May 21) morning the 26 award winners for this year's Medal of Excellence. For Bowling Green State University, football's Blane Cleaver and track and field's Jenna Lucas are this year's honorees. Cleaver, Lucas and the other 24 award winners will be presented with the Medal of Excellence Award during the 2026 Honors Dinner Ceremony at the Cleveland Hotel as part of the MAC Spring Meetings on May 29.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Bowling Green State University has announced the promotion of Dan Meyer from Senior Associate Athletic Director to a new role as Executive Director of Development within the Division of University Advancement, effective June 1.
