BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University linebacker Gideon Lampron was named Mid-American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week for games played through Oct. 12. It is the first career MAC weekly award for Lampron.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show, presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night on the Falcon Sports Radio Network. The Jan Wilcox Head Football Coach Eddie George and volleyball head coach Alex DelPiombo will join Todd Walker from 6-7 p.m. at the Bowling Green Fricker's. Coach George will kick off the show at 6 p.m.

The Bowling Green State University football team rallied from a three-touchdown deficit on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 11), scoring 28 unanswered points en route to a 28-23 win over the University of Toledo. The latest "Battle of I-75" took place at a sold-out Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
