These teams are meeting for the first time sinced BGSU swept the Huskies at Slater Family Ice Arena in the quarterfinals of the CCHA Mason Cup Playoffs last season.

Cole Moore made four key saves in the three-on-three overtime period to preserve a 1-1 tie.
