This exhibition is part of the 2025–26 IN THE ROUND programming featuring Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer.
- Nov 21:00 PMIN THE ROOTS: Ohio's Native Plants Exhibit OpeningAll are welcome to join us for the exhibition opening and talk, “The Power of Reciprocity: How Building Relationships Creates Sustainable Solutions in Indian Country" by Remington Schneider. Remington (Remey) Schneider works as a Financial Analyst at the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy, where he works as a bridge between Tribes and Financial Institutions to finance clean energy projects in Indian Country. Remey is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Environmental Policy & Analysis and International Studies. He recently graduated with a Master's of Environmental Management (MEM) from the Yale School of the Environment in New Haven, Connecticut. He’s passionate about Tribal clean energy development and helping Tribes pursue energy sovereignty. This is the official start of In The Roots: Ohio’s Native Plants Exhibit open through Nov. 15. We invite you to visit the exhibit following the opening.======================= Join us in honoring Native American Heritage Month, which celebrates the rich histories, diverse cultures, and enduring traditions of Indigenous peoples. From music and food to exhibits and storytelling, these events are open to all and offer opportunities to engage, learn, and connect. Everyone is welcome to join in on campus and throughout the surrounding community.
