BGSU Firelands will host its Annual Harvest Fest on Thursday, November 13 from 11am-1pm in Falcon Square, North. This yearly tradition brings together the campus community for a Thanksgiving-style meal and a chance to support students in need. The event raises money for the BGSU Firelands Student Emergency Fund, which provides financial assistance to students experiencing hardships. A non-perishable food drive will also be held to stock the Firelands Food Pantry (located in George Mylander Hall, first floor) which provides free food and other essentials to students, faculty and staff. Give back to the community by bringing two unexpired canned goods/non-perishable items or $3 cash in exchange for a meal.We hope to see you and connect over a shared meal and celebrate the season.

This year’s theme, “Firelands Through the Years: Celebrating Legacy and Future Together,” will spotlight our 60th Anniversary (1965–2025) and recognize milestone classes across the decades.As we mark the 60th anniversary of the campus, we invite students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University to reflect on our shared history and look forward to a vibrant future.Enjoy sweet treats and warm beverages as we gather in community. Explore a special 60th anniversary showcase featuring historic photographs, yearbooks, and campus artifacts that highlight the milestones and memories that have shaped BGSU Firelands since 1965. The exhibit will be open throughout the day, offering a chance to celebrate our legacy— past, present, and future.This event is free and open to BGSU Firelands alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the public.
