Meet Preview: Swim & Dive To Face Marshall on Alumni Day
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- After a week-long training trip in warm and sunny Florida, the BGSU swim & dive team will return home to face Marshall in a dual meet on Saturday, January 11 at 11 a.m. at Cooper Pool.
The program will honor its alumni during the 10-minute break between the 100 butterfly and 200 IM events. All alumni in attendance should report by the rock wall behind the bleachers during the 500 freestyle event to come onto the deck for alumni recognition. Additionally, the team is partnering with The Green Dot Strategy for the meet to address sexual violence, intimate partner violence and stalking through bystander education and intervention.
The Falcons are coming off two dual meet victories over Barry and Simon Fraser in Miami Shores, Florida, on Sunday. They have a 6-1 record in dual meets this season, which is their best record since the 2018-19 season.
Marshall comes to Bowling Green with a 3-1 dual meet record and placed second at last season's Sun Belt Conference Championship. They will face Toledo on the road on Friday before heading south on I-75 to face the Falcons the next day.
The meet will be livstreamed on YouTube courtesy of WBGU, Bowling Green's campus television station. Live results will be available via the Meet Mobile app.
