NPHC was founded in 1930 at Howard University in Washington, D.C., with the purpose of fostering unity and cooperation among its member organizations and advocating for the interests of Black college students. BGSU faculty and instructors are required to use Verba, the university’s textbook reporting system, to register textbooks, open educational resources (OER), and other required materials. This helps the university stay compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act, and it gives students the ability to compare prices across major retailers before the semester begins. In this hands-on session, you’ll get a step-by-step demonstration of how to register your course materials in Verba. You’ll also have time to work on your own course listings, ask questions, and start planning for next semester.Why you should attend:Identify how Verba supports student access and affordability.Register textbooks, open educational resources (OER) and other course materials using Verba.
