OHSAA Regional Hockey Returns To Slater Family Ice Arena
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - OHSAA Regional Hockey is returning to Bowling Green State University for the first time in over 25 years. The Northwest Hockey Regional will be played at Tam O Shanter before coming to the Slater Family Ice Arena on the campus of Bowling Green State University on Saturday, Feb. 15 for the Quarterfinals and the remainder of the tournament.
Tickets for all games can be found HERE. Tickets are currently on-sale for games through the quarterfinal round.
Saturday (Feb. 15) will feature four quarterfinal games at Slater Family Ice Arena with start times set for 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., each featuring one of the top four teams in the tournament. The 1:30 p.m. game will feature No. 1-seeded St. Francis de Sales while the 3:30 p.m. game will have No. 4 Clay, the 7 p.m. game No. 2 Northview and the nightcap 9 p.m. game No. 3 Bowling Green.
The tournament will continue with the Regional Semifinals on Feb. 21 with a game at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Slater Family Ice Arena. The Regional Championship is scheduled for March 1 at 12 p.m. at Slater Family Ice Arena. The teams for the semifinals and championship will be dependent upon the quarterfinal results. In contrast to Friday night's eight goal game however, there were only two goals scored in the contest, and the score was level at one after regulation. For the second game in a row, the Falcons and Mavericks headed to a shootout, where the Falcons took the extra point this time around, winning the best of three shootout 1-0.

- BGSU Drops Series Finale in OvertimeBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team battled the Bemidji State Beavers in their home opening series finale on Saturday night. The Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second period, but two third period goals from the Beavers forced the game into overtime. In the overtime frame, Bemidji escaped with a 3-2 victory off a goal by Hudson Thornton.
- Falcons Battle to Earn Point in Home OpenerBOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The BGSU ice hockey team battled the Beavers of Bemidji State in their home opener on Friday night. The game ended 4-4 after regulation, but the Beavers came out victorious in a shootout to earn the extra point in the CCHA standings. Bowling Green battled from two goals down to secure a point and remain level with the Beavers in the CCHA standings.
- Falcon Hockey to Host Bemidji in Home OpenerBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team will enjoy a visit from the Bemidji State Beavers over Halloween weekend, as they host their first home CCHA series of the 2025-26 season. The Falcons got their CCHA schedule started in electric fashion last weekend, as they swept Lake Superior State by scores of 4-1 and 3-2.
