BGSU Hockey’s Ryan O’Hara Signs with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Bowling Green State University hockey alumnus Ryan O'Hara has been signed to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL. The Oakville, Ont., native is the first player from the 2025 class to sign a professional contract.
Falcons Fall to Tommies in CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-14-4) fell in the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals to the St. Thomas Tommies (19-13-5) by a score of 3-1. The Falcons finish in Head Coach Dennis Williams first season at helm with a record of 18-14-4. In the loss, graduate Ethan Scardina scored in what would be his final collegiate game.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-13-4, CCHA 12-10-4) will travel to Mendota Heights, Minn., to face off against the St. Thomas Tommies (18-13-5, CCHA 13-9-4) with a chance to go to the CCHA Mason Cup Championship game on the line.
O’Hara and Waters Named to Second Team All-CCHA Team
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has announced its 2024-25 selections for All-CCHA second team, with Bowling Green senior Ryan O'Hara and sophomore Brody Waters earning recognition. O'Hara is making his first appearance on an All-CCHA Team after being a four-time CCHA All-Academic Selection. Waters is being awarded his first All-CCHA team after being named as the CCHA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 27, 2023.
Christian Stoever Earns Second CCHA Weekly Award of the Season
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Week for the previous week of competition. Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week, his third CCHA honor of the season and sixth weekly award of his career. The senior recorded his third shutout of the season and seventh of his career.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-13-4, CCHA 12-10-4) defeated the Michigan Tech Huskies (16-17-3, CCHA 12-11-3) by a score of 4-0 to advance to the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the first time since the 2011-12 season. BGSU wins their first post season series since the 2019-2020 season and the first at home since 2018-19.
