- Stjernberg and the Falcons Play Spoiler in Overtime on RIT’s Brick City Homecoming GameROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Bowling Green Falcons (3-1-0) hand the RIT Tigers (2-3-0) their first loss in RIT's Brick City Homecoming game in a decade with a 2-1 overtime victory. With 47 seconds left in the overtime period, sophomore Gustav Stjernberg scored his first career game-winner with a top right hand corner goal. With tonight's win, BGSU remains perfect in the clutch with a 2-0 record in overtime games and 3-0 against AHA opponents.
- BGSU Hockey Looks to Bounce Back on Saturday at RIT in Rochester, N.Y.BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (2-1-0) will look to bounce back on Saturday against the RIT Tigers (2-2-0) for a non-conference road game. The game will be played a Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester, N.Y. This will be the second AHA foe this season for the Falcons after playing Mercyhurst to open the season.
- Volleyball, Hockey Start Times Adjusted For Oct. 26, Nov. 16BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University athletic department made changes to the schedules for Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 16. Both volleyball and hockey have had their start times adjusted for Oct. 26. Volleyball against Kent State will now be a 5 p.m. first serve at the Stroh Center while hockey against Ohio State is now set for a 7:37 p.m. puck drop at Slater Family Ice Arena. As for Nov. 16, volleyball against Ohio has been moved back to a 6 p.m. start.
- Falcons Fall to Broncos in Kalamazoo, Mich, 6-2 for First Loss of the SeasonKALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (2-1-0) dropped their first game of the 2024-25 season against ranked #16/17 Western Michigan (3-0-0), 6-2. The Falcons were able to score two goals to tie the game at two in the second period but were never able to reach the Broncos after that.

With tonight's win, the Falcons extend their undefeated record against the Red Leafs to 2-0.
- Bowling Green Set for First Exhibition in a Decade against Simon Fraser on Sunday AfternoonBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons are slated for their second non-conference home exhibition game against the Simon Fraser Red Leafs on Oct.13. The game will be played at Slater Family Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Ohio. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 5:07 pm. This marks the first time the two teams have faced each other in a decade after a 7-2 win by the Falcons in 2014.
