How It Happened
- The USNDTP got on the board early with a goal to open the game's scoring at 1:48 into the game.
- Under five minutes later, the Falcons found the equalizer from sophomore Nick O'Hanisain. BGSU cycled the puck around the zone. Senior Owen Ozar on the left boards passed the puck across the zone to sophomore Nick O'Hanisain at the right point. O'Hanisain passed the puck across the blue to junior Dalton Norris. Norris passed it back to O'Hanisain took a shot from the top of the right circle that beat the goaltender
- The U.S. National Under-18 team netted two more goals to make the score 3-1.
- Senior Ethan Scardina cut into the deficit to make it 3-2. Scardina fought for the puck along the boards. The puck shot out and was picked up junior Brett Pfoh. Pfoh took an initial shot towards net but did not make it all the way. Scardina picked up the puck and tapped it in .
- USNDTP scored on late in the second to make it 5-2.
- To start the third period, the Falcons changed goalkeepers for junior Sal Evola's first appearance in net for BGSU this season. The junior goalkeeper finished the game with five saves
- Quickly into the third period, U.S. National Under 18 team netted another goal to make it 5-2
- Sophomore Matvei Kabanov scored to make it 5-3. Sophmore Brandon Santa Juana beat the USNDTP defender and took an initial shot that was saved. Kabanov collected the rebound and tapped the puck into the back of the net
- U.S. National Under-18 Team's Conrad Fondrk scored his second of the night on an empty net to make it 6-3.
- In the closing seconds of the game, Kabanov brought the puck into the offensive zone on a 2 on 1. Kabanov passed it across to freshman Adam Zlnka. Zlnka took a shot that trickled in past the goaltender to make it 6-4.

Waters is being awarded his first All-CCHA team after being named as the CCHA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 27, 2023.

Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week, his third CCHA honor of the season and sixth weekly award of his career. The senior recorded his third shutout of the season and seventh of his career.
- Falcons Advance to CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the First Time Since 2011-2012 SeasonBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (18-13-4, CCHA 12-10-4) defeated the Michigan Tech Huskies (16-17-3, CCHA 12-11-3) by a score of 4-0 to advance to the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the first time since the 2011-12 season. BGSU wins their first post season series since the 2019-2020 season and the first at home since 2018-19.
