BGSU Baseball Adds Midweek Contest Against Findlay On April 29
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team has made an addition to this year's home schedule. The Falcons have added a home game for Tuesday, April 29, hosting the University of Findlay. The game is set for a 3 p.m. start at Steller Field and admission, as always, will be free. The meeting between BGSU and UF will be the 82nd all-time, but the first since the 2016 season.
The schedule addition for the Falcons comes after Bowling Green has had three games this year postponed or canceled due to weather. The game will be the lone home midweek game through the month of April for the Orange and Brown. It will fall between a home series against Eastern Michigan and this year's Battle of I-75, which will be hosted by the rival Rockets. The Oilers this season currently have a record of 15-16 while being 7-7 within the G-MAC.
As for the Falcons, Bowling Green will focus on their game tonight (April 9) at Youngstown State, set for a 5 p.m. first pitch against the Penguins. From there, the Orange and Brown will shift back to conference play, heading to Kalamazoo, Mich. for a three-game weekend series with the Western Michigan Broncos.
