BG Hockey set to host "Hockey 101" event on Wednesday Night

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The Bowling Green Ice Hockey team will host their annual "Hockey 101" event for BGSU students on Aug 28. The event will begin at 8:30 p.m. With doors opening at 8:15 p.m. at Slater Family Ice Arena. Perks of the event include free pizza and the opportunity to participate in a free skate starting at 9 p.m. 2024-25 season posters will be available.
Students will have the chance to tour the facility, including the locker room, weight room, and team lounge. Various members of the BGSU Hockey team will lead the tour and a group photo will be taken. Additionally, the Bleacher Creatures will also teach chants that can be heard throughout every home game.
This event is free and available to BGSU students only.
