MANKATO, Minn. – The Bowling Green Falcons (5-6-2, CCHA 2-3-2) fell to the Minnesota State Mavericks (11-4-2, 6-1-2) by a score of 4-1 on Friday night. In the loss, freshman Adam Zlnka scored his first collegiate goal and graduate Tommy Pasanen recorded his first assist of the season.

How It Happened
- Cole Moore was back in the net for the start for the Falcons, after senior Christian Stoever got the start last time out against the Huskies
- Minnesota State got on the board early at 7:47 in the first period on an odd man rush to take a 1-0 lead
- The lead would not last long, as an initial shot by graduate Ville Immonen was saved, but freshman Adam Zlnka would bury the equalizer off the rebound for his first collegiate goal
- Late the in first period, the Mavericks would regain the lead, 2-1, on a goal at 15:09 to close out the period
- Through one period, the Falcons out-shot the Mavericks 18-17.
- Minnesota State would extend their lead at 5:46 in the second period on the power play after sophomore Gustav Stjernberg would go to the box for boarding
- With 5:02 left in the game, Minnesota State would get another goal to make the lead, 4-1.
