For the Falcon this marks their first loss and first time not collecting at least on CCHA point since Dec. 7, 2024. The Orange and Brown drop their first game against Ferris State in the last eight meetings.

How It Happened
- The Falcons started hot with a goal just over five minutes into the game. Junior Eric Parker, in the defensive zone, found junior Quinn Emerson up the ice. Emerson brought the puck into the zone and beat the Ferris State goaltender five hole to make it 1-0.
- A minute and 54 seconds later, BGSU doubled the lead with sophomore Brody Waters, 13th goal of the season. Senior Ryan O'Hara, on the bottom left circle, found Waters across the ice on the right circle. Waters tapped the puck into a wide-open net to beat the Ferris State goaltender.
- Through one period, sophomore Cole Moore stopped all 12 shots he faced.
- The Bulldogs cut into the lead with a goal at the 3:21 mark of the second period.
- With 10.4 seconds left in the second, Ferris State found the equalizer to enter the third period tied 2-2.
- Ferris State took the lead early into the third with 16:42 left in the game on their third straight goal.
- Just under two minutes later, the Bulldogs doubled their lead, 2-4.
- With 7:41 left in the game, on the power-play, junior Dalton Norris took a shot from the right circle that was tipped in from Waters past a screened Ferris State goaltender to make it 3-4.
