BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (5-5-1, CCHA 2-2-2) will travel to Mankato, Minn., for an in-conference match-up against the Minnesota State Mavericks (10-4-2, 5-1-2) on Friday and Saturday night.

Match-Up History
Minnesota State leads the series all time with a 27-11-5 record overall. The last time these two teams met on Jan. 20, 2024, the Mavericks came away with a 4-1 victory. The Falcons split the series a season ago with the Mavericks winning on Jan.19 at home with a 4-3 victory. BGSU will look for their first series sweep of the Huskies since Dec. 15, 2018, and their first win in Mankato, Minn., since Nov. 1, 2019.

• The Mavericks are coming off a bye week after sweeping the Michigan Tech Huskies two weekends ago.
• Minnesota State was ranked in the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey polls at #15, marking the Falcons fourth ranked or receiving votes opponent this season
• Minnesota State's Alex Tracy is currently leading the NCAA in GAA and Save Percentage and was named CCHA Goaltender of the Month and Co-National Goaltender of the Month.
• Rhett Pitlick currently is tied for the team lead in goals and leads all point-getters with 15.

• The Falcons are coming off a shootout win over the Michigan Tech Huskies, 2-2 (SOW, 2-0).
• In the shootout win, junior Dalton Norris recorded his fourth multi-point game with a goal and an assist. For his performance, against the Huskies, Norris was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week for the second time in the month of November.
• BGSU is currently 1-3-1 against opponents that are ranked or receiving votes in the polls. 
• BGSU is currently 4-0 in overtime and shootout games and is undefeated in games decided by one goal 
• Senior Ryan O'Hara leads the team with nine assists and is ranked second within the CCHA in the category. 
• The Falcons are leading the CCHA in face-off win percentage at 54.7%, while graduate Ville Immonen is tied for second in CCHA in the category 
• Waters is currently leading the team in power-play goals with five so far, which is good for third with the NCAA and first within the CCHA.
