Ice Hockey Announces 2025-26 CCHA Portion of Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University ice hockey program has officially announced its CCHA schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Falcons are slated to compete in 26 league contests, facing every conference opponent either at home, away or both. BGSU will play 12 games at Slater Family Ice Arena and hit the road for 14 games throughout the campaign. All home contests are scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET, unless noted otherwise.

The Falcons are slated to compete in 26 league contests, facing every conference opponent either at home, away or both. BGSU will play 12 games at Slater Family Ice Arena and hit the road for 14 games throughout the campaign. All home contests are scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET, unless noted otherwise.

The non-conference schedule will be released at a later date. 

The Orange and Brown will open CCHA play with a road trip to Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., taking on Lake Superior State on Oct. 24-25. The following weekend, Bowling Green will return home for its league opener at Slater Family Ice Arena, welcoming Bemidji State to town (Oct. 31 - Nov. 1).
BGSU begins November with a trip to Mankato to face Minnesota State (Nov. 7-8), followed by a home series against Ferris State (Nov. 14-15). The Falcons will close out the month on the road in St. Paul, Minn., taking on St. Thomas (Nov. 21-22).

After a short break, Bowling Green returns to Slater Family Ice Arena in December to host Northern Michigan (Dec. 5-6), marking the final CCHA action of the calendar year.

The Falcons will resume play in January with a road series at Ferris State (Jan. 9-10), then host Lake Superior State (Jan. 16-17). A trip to Bemidji, Minn. follows for a Jan. 23-24 series against the Beavers.

February opens with a home series versus St. Thomas (Feb. 6-7), followed by a road trip to Sioux Falls, S.D. to face Augustana (Feb. 13-14), who will be in their first season as a full member of the CCHA. The Falcons will then return to Slater Family Ice Arena for their final regular season home series against Minnesota State (Feb. 20-21).

The regular season concludes with a road series at Michigan Tech in Houghton, Mich. on Feb. 27-28.

Postseason play begins with the CCHA Mason Cup Quarterfinals on March 6-8, with the top four seeds hosting. The CCHA Semifinals are set for March 14, hosted by the two highest remaining seeds. The Mason Cup Championship will be played on March 20, hosted by the highest remaining seed.
