BGSU Volleyball To Host Ohio State, Cincinnati, Illinois In Non-Conference Play
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team has announced the non-conference schedule for the 2024 season, completing the team's full schedule for the campaign. BGSU and the MAC released the conference schedule on March 27. In total, the Falcons will play 11 non-conference matches and 18 MAC matches for a total of 29 on the regular season schedule. During the 2024 non-conference season, the Falcons are scheduled to take on three teams that went to the 2023 NCAA Tournament, two teams that competed in the 2023 NIVC and another that went to their conference championship a season ago.
"As always, our non-conference schedule was designed with the end in mind," said head coach Danijela Tomic. "Our team will face diverse and very competitive opponents chosen to test us, help us grow, and prepare us for the challenging conference play and, hopefully, the postseason. This schedule reflects our dedication to excellence and our goal to compete for the MAC Championship annually.
"We can't wait to see our Falcon fans at the Stroh Center, creating an electric atmosphere and the best home-court advantage in the MAC. We hope they will help us lead the MAC in attendance again this year while having a blast watching our team compete."
