BGSU Firelands Student Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion is proud to partner with BGSU Firelands Student Government, Falcon Families, and Inclusive Pre-K Educators for a Winter Outerwear Drive, running January 21 until February 4. We’re collecting new and gently used coats, scarves, gloves, and hats from infant to adult sizes (all gender items are appreciated.) Donations will assist our student parents and local families in need. Donation drop boxes are conveniently located in Falcon Square, North, and outside the Office of Student Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, George Mylander Hall, room 135 during regular college operation hours. Annually, this adds up to about 13.6 million units of whole blood collected for donation in the U.S. The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood cell components to donors.
