Mitta comes to the Falcons after spending the last two seasons at the University of Mount Olive. A native of Raleigh, N.C., Mitta joins a list of seven other transfers to join the Falcons for the upcoming season.

- BGSU Legend Anthony Stacey Returns To Falcons As Assistant CoachBOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head men's basketball coach Todd Simon announced the addition of Anthony Stacey to the Falcons' coaching staff. Stacey will return to the Falcons for his second stint as an assistant coach following five years as the head coach at Whitmer High School. He previously served as an assistant with Bowling Green for five seasons under Michael Huger from 2015-2020. Stacey, a 2011 BGSU Hall of Fame inductee, still ranks second all-time for career points in the Orange and Brown with 1,938.

- Gideon Lampron Named MAC Co-Defensive Player of the WeekBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University linebacker Gideon Lampron was named Mid-American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week for games played through Oct. 12. It is the first career MAC weekly award for Lampron.

- Men's Golf Closes Out Fall Schedule at Moraine IntercollegiateKETTERING, Ohio -- The BGSU men's golf team will travel to Kettering, Ohio this week (Oct. 13-14) for the Moraine Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami University (OH). The tournament will be played at Moraine Country Club, a par 71 course with a total yardage of 6,916.
- Falcons Land 8th at Tom Tontimonia InvitationalWESTLAKE, Ohio. – The BGSU men's golf team played in the Tom Tontimonia Invitational this week, Sep. 29-30. The tournament was hosted by BGSU and was played at the Virtues Golf Club, a par 71 course with a total yardage of 7,201. BGSU finished 8th overall out of the 10-team field, firing an 880 across three rounds of play.

- Falcons Sweep Pennsylvania Road TripINDIANA, Penn. -- The BGSU tennis team competed for a second day in a row on Sunday, Oct. 12 as they took on Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Falcons came out victorious, beating the Crimson Hawks 6-1. The Falcons took five out of the possible six singles matches, but dropped two out of three doubles matches. Libby Blair and Kiera Taylor continued their dominance in doubles, winning their matchup 6-4. Tia Clemens continued her strong start to the season, winning her singles matchup 7-5 and 6-1.

The Falcons took all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point, and nearly swept the singles matches, winning five out of six.
