BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University linebacker Gideon Lampron was named Mid-American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week for games played through Oct. 12. It is the first career MAC weekly award for Lampron.

The Bowling Green State University football team rallied from a three-touchdown deficit on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 11), scoring 28 unanswered points en route to a 28-23 win over the University of Toledo. The latest "Battle of I-75" took place at a sold-out Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

The game will be televised on ESPNU and will kick at noon. The home football game is part of the Battle of I-75, which is sponsored by the Fremont Federal Credit Union.
