- Ali Saad Selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2025 CFL DraftBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green defensive lineman Ali Saad (Windsor, Ont.) was selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders during Tuesday's first round of the 2025 Canadian Football League Draft. Saad was the fourth overall pick. He becomes BGSU's first CFL draft selection since offensive lineman Ryan Hunter was taken in the first round of the 2018 CFL Draft by the Toronto Argonauts.
- Harold Fannin Jr. Selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 NFL DraftBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green junior tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (Canton, Ohio) was selected by the Cleveland Browns during Friday's third round of the National Football Draft. Fannin was the 67th overall pick and the first tight end from Bowling Green since Greg Meczka was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 15th round of the 1974 NFL Draft.
