- No Place Like Home: BGVB To Open MAC Play Against Ohio, Kent State At Stroh CenterBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will begin the MAC portion of their season with back-to-back home matches. Bowling Green will first host Ohio on Thursday (Sept. 25) before transitioning to Kent State on Friday (Sept. 26). Both matches are scheduled for 6 p.m. starts inside the Stroh Center. Thursday will be Casino Night while Friday's theme will be Teal Attack. Both matches will also be available to stream on ESPN+.
- The Falcons Nest Coaches Show with Todd Walker Returns on Monday Night at Fricker’s with Dewayne Alexander, Alex DelPiombo and Chris FoxBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show, presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night on the Falcon Sports Radio Network. Football assistant head coach and tight ends coach Dewayne Alexander, volleyball head coach Alex DelPiombo and women's soccer head coach Chris Fox will join Todd Walker from 6-7 p.m. at the Bowling Green Fricker's. Coach Alexander will kick off the show at 6 p.m.
- Falcons’ Efficient Attack Leads BGVB To Sweep Over Binghamton To Conclude Non-Conference SlateEAST LANSING, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team wrapped up the non-conference portion of their 2025 schedule on Saturday (Sept. 20) with a 3-0 sweep over Binghamton. The first set consisted of 16 ties and seven lead changes in a close 25-23 score. However, the Falcons took over from there with just five ties and no lead changes in the second and third sets combined. As a team, Bowling Green hit a season-best .314 on their way to the win, remaining undefeated on Saturdays this season. BGSU ends the non-conference schedule with a 6-6 record entering MAC play next week.
- Bowling Green Takes Undefeated Michigan State To Four SetsEAST LANSING, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team took on the undefeated Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing Friday night (Sept. 19). The Spartans jumped out to a two-set lead, but the Falcons fought back in the third. After battling the set into extra points, Bowling Green was able to claim the set with a 26-24 score to force a fourth. Michigan State managed to hold on for the four-set win, maintaining their undefeated season while BGSU moves to 5-6 on the year.

- BGVB Preps For Home Opener Wednesday, Non-Conference Finale This WeekendBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will open their home schedule this week while closing their non-conference slate. Bowling Green's home opener is set for Wednesday (Sept. 17) against Oakland with a 6 p.m. first serve. The Falcons will then hit the road for their final two tests before MAC play starts next week. The Orange and Brown will face Michigan State on Friday (Sept. 19) with a 6 p.m. start before taking on Binghamton on Saturday (Sept. 20) at 3 p.m., both in East Lansing. The match against Oakland will be on ESPN+ while the two at Michigan State will be on BIG+.
- Avery Hobson, Amanda Otten Earn MAC Weekly HonorsCLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the MAC Players of the Week Monday afternoon (Sept. 15). Of those named, Bowling Green's Avery Hobson and Amanda Otten were named with Hobson being the week's Offensive Player of the Week and Otten the Setter of the Week. For Otten, this is her first MAC weekly award of the season, her fourth career Setter of the Week honor and her fifth overall weekly MAC award. As for Hobson, this is her first MAC weekly award, but she was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week twice during the 2023 season at Duquesne. Hobson joins Lauryn Hovey, who was named last week, as back-to-back Falcons to be the MAC Offensive Player of the Week.
