Learn the difference between these professional documents and how to effectively translate your academic achievements, research, teaching, and projects for the career field you wish to pursue. Career Design Coaches will guide you through the essential components of each document and share best practices for formatting and style to ensure you are effectively communicating your experiences and skillset. Whether you're pursuing a faculty role or exploring opportunities beyond academia, this session offers valuable insights and practical tips to elevate your professional profile. Bring a copy of your resume or CV to review and edit during the session.Why you should attend:Describe the difference between a resume and an academic CV. Identify appropriate content for each document type based on career goals and audience. Identify National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE) competencies and highlight them effectively on professional documents. Apply best practices shared in the session to revise and strengthen your own resume or CV.
