Falcons Drop First Game of Series to Michigan Tech, 3-0
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The BGSU Falcon hockey team (5-5-1, CCHA 2-2-1) lost 3-0 to the Michigan Tech Huskies (7-4-0, 5-2-0) at the Slater Family Ice Arena.
Despite the loss, the Falcons out-shot the Huskies 57-44 but were 0-for-3 on the power play compared to Michigan Tech's 2-for-4.

How it Happened
- Michigan Tech struck first, as they capitalized on a power play 3:37 into the game.
- The Huskies took advantage of another power play with about two and a half minutes left in the first period to take a 2-0 lead.
- The visitors scored another goal, this time just under two and a half minutes left in the second period as a shot just off the short side of the net went in between the BGSU goalie's legs and trickled in.
- The Falcons had chances late in the second including a shot from Sophomore Brody Waters that went just wide of the net.
