- Stoever Earns First CCHA Weekly Award of 2025BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Week for the previous week of competition. Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week, his second CCHA honor of the season and fifth CCHA weekly award of his career. The senior recorded his second shutout of the season and sixth of his career.
- Coaches Show Returns For First Show Of 2025, Featuring Todd Simon, Curtis CarrBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Jan. 6) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Bowling Green head men's basketball coach Todd Simon will join the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker with a previously recorded segment at 6 p.m. due to men's basketball travel. The show will continue in-person with Kevin Piel being joined by assistant men's ice hockey coach Curtis Carr at 6:30 p.m. at Fricker's. Fans can watch the show live at the Bowling Green Fricker's.
- Falcons Fly to Five Straight Wins with 3-1 Victory over Lake Superior State LakersSAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (10-7-2, CCHA 6-4-2) defeated the Lake Superior State Lakers (8-11-1, 6-6-0) by a score of 3-1 for their fifth straight win and second sweep against CCHA foes in as many opportunities. In the win, graduate Ethan Scardina scored the eighth goal of his career against Lake Superior State and recorded his first multi-point game of the season. The Falcons recorded their third CCHA sweep of the season tying the number of sweeps earned a season ago.
- Falcons Frustrate Lakers in 3-0 Victory to Start 2025 Calendar YearSAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (9-7-2, CCHA 5-4-2) defeated the Lake Superior State Lakers (8-10-1, 6-5-0) by a score of 3-0 to start the 2025 calendar year. In the win, senior Ryan O'Hara scored two goals and recorded an assist for his first three-point game of the season and second of his career. Additionally, BGSU now holds a four-game winning streak the longest since Feb. 2-Feb. 10, 2024, when the Falcons swept both Ferris State and Lake Superior State.
- BGSU Hockey Set to Open 2025 with Away Series against Lake Superior StateBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (8-7-2, CCHA 4-4-2) will open the 2025 calendar year with an in conference away series against the Lake Superior State Lakers (8-9-1, 6-4-0).
- Stoever Collects First Monthly CCHA Award in the Dennis Williams Era, earning CCHA Goaltender of the Month for DecemberBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Month for the Month of December. Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Month, his second monthly honor of his career. The senior recorded three wins in three starts in the month of December as well as one shutout.
- Former BGSU Forward Derek Whitmore signs with the Maine Mariners of the ECHLPORTLAND, MAINE.- Bowling Green State University hockey alumnus Derek Whitmore has been signed to a standard players contract (SPC) with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL for the 2024-25 season, the Mariners announced Monday.
- O’Hara Nets First Goal of the Season as Falcons Close Out 2024 with 2-1 win over RITBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (8-7-2, CCHA 4-4-2) defeated the RIT Tigers (4-15-1, AHA 3-8-1) by a score of 2-1 to close out 2024. In the win, senior Ryan O'Hara scored his first goal of the season, and it was the eventual game-winner. With the win, the Falcons improve to 4-0-0 against AHA foes.
- Bowling Green Hockey Finishes 2024 with Home Game against RITBOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (5-7-2, CCHA 2-2-2) will close out the 2024 year with a Sunday afternoon match up against the RIT Tigers (4-14-1, AHA 3-8-1).
- BGSU Hockey Signs Ivan Korodiuk as Mid-Year Enrollee from the Madison Capitols in the United States Hockey League (USHL)BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University head ice hockey coach, Dennis Williams has announced Ivan Korodiuk has signed with the Falcons from the Madison Capitols of the United States Hockey League (USHL). Korodiuk will join BGSU as a mid-year enrollee after the holiday break.
