The summer 2024 Doctoral Hooding ceremony will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, at 3:30 p.m. inside the Donnell Theater at the Wolfe Center for the Arts.All graduates will have the opportunity to cross the commencement stage and receive a diploma cover. All graduates who wish to attend the ceremony are required to complete the RSVP form. Join us for the 2025 Women's History Month Guest Lecture, presented by the Department of History at BGSU.Dr. Tracey Hanshew, of Eastern Oregon University, will present her research on rural women in the American West. Dr. Hanshew will explore the iconic cowgirl image and its significant roles within the Western genre. This topic will resonate with enthusiasts of popular culture, sports, performance, feminism, and American history alike.This lecture is free and open to the public.
