Please follow these steps to check in when you arrive:We ask for families to register for family weekend so we can a count of how many guests we will have on campus to help us plan our events and communicate relevant information for the weekend.If you've registered, closer to the event date, a QR code will be sent to your email—simply pull it up, and we’ll get you checked in!Check-in will take place in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Multipurpose Room from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 and 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18. The full video planetarium SciDome system projects and fills our 40-foot dome with video that immerses visitors in the cosmos and shows the sky from any place on Earth at any time.During Family Weekend the Planetarium will be showing "The Edge of Darkness"Come explore the Universe at the BGSU Planetarium with the show EDGE OF DARKNESS. The New Horizons mission returned spectacular pictures of faraway Pluto in 2015 and at the same time the Dawn mission sent home spectacular images of the asteroid Vesta and dwarf planet Ceres. See the interesting landscapes of these dark and distant worlds.If you’re interested in attending a planetarium showing, be sure to come to check in on Friday or Saturday to claim your free ticket.
