BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will return home to the Stroh Center on Friday (Nov. 8) for this season's home opener, hosting Davidson for a 7 p.m. tip. The Falcons are coming off a loss to Southern Miss in the season opener, but have won six consecutive home openers at the Stroh Center. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ with a radio feed from Kevin Piel on WFRO Eagle 99.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team's road game against Michigan State on Nov. 16 has been selected for national television on Big Ten Network. The Big Ten and Michigan State announced the selection Wednesday morning (Nov. 6). In addition to the television selection, the game time was announced as a 6 p.m. start between BGSU and MSU.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team began the 2024-25 campaign on the road at Southern Miss on Monday (Nov. 4) as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The first points of the season for BGSU came from a Derrick Butler three, scoring early and often for the Falcons, ending with 17 that tied with Trey Thomas for the team lead. Bowling Green and Southern Miss battled back-and-forth with the Golden Eagles building a 12-point lead. The Falcons challenged late, using a 7-0 run to pull within five, but Southern Miss held on for the 77-68 final. BGSU will return home for their next contest, hosting Davidson on Friday (Nov. 8).

The game will mark the first leg of this season's MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The Falcons and Golden Eagles are scheduled for an 8 p.m. EST tip at Reed Green Coliseum. BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team has had two games selected for national television. The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday (Oct. 22) that the Falcons' home games against Akron and Toledo will be aired nationally on CBS Sports Network. The announcement will move the game against Akron to Jan. 3 and the game against Toledo to Jan. 24, both of which will be 6 p.m. tips at the Stroh Center.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University basketball teams will once again be hosting their season tip-off event "Hoops Night" on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 p.m. at the Stroh Center. This event is free of charge as it gives the Bowling Green community a chance to interact with the Men's and Women's basketball teams.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly "Falcons Nest Coaches Show" radio program, presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Bowling Green head football head coach Scot Loeffler  and women's basketball head coach Fred Chmiel and men's basketball head coach Todd Simon will join the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker from 6-7 p.m. at the Bowling Green Fricker's. Coach Loeffler will kick off the show at 6 p.m.
