BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Gymnastics is excited to announce the hiring of Ciera Martin as an assistant coach, as announced by Head Coach Brittney Emmons.

Bowling Green State University has been named the winner of the 2023-24 Mid-American Conference Women's Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) Academic Achievement Award, the conference office announced on Wednesday (Aug. 28)

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Director of Athletics Derek van der Merwe has announced the hiring of Brittney Emmons as the head gymnastics coach. Emmons, who comes to BGSU after spending the last five seasons at William & Mary where she was the ECAC Assistant Coach of the Year, is no stranger to the Mid-American Conference. As a gymnast at Ball State, Emmons was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Senior Gymnast of the Year in 2013 and earned trips to three NCAA Regionals as an all-arounder.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team was one of 62 teams in the country to earn recognition by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) by posting a team grade point average of 3.50 or better for the 2023-24 academic year.

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Bowling Green gymnastics concluded the season at the 2024 MAC Championship on Saturday, hosted by Ball State at Worthen Arena. BGSU finished seventh as Western Michigan won the MAC Championship with a score of 196.525.
