Transferring between division one sports schools can be a tough transition for many athletes, as it was for BGSU women's soccer junior defender Gabby Lamparty. However, the move has been seamless.

Payton O'Malley came up big on Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 4). The sophomore goalkeeper saved two penalty kicks as the Bowling Green State University women's soccer team advanced past Miami University in the semifinal round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament at Historic Crew Stadium.

• The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team, after a double-overtime victory in the quarterfinal round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament, now prepares for Tuesday's (Nov. 4) semifinals. Head coach Chris Fox and the Falcons, the tournament's number-six seed, face second-seeded Miami University in that semifinal-round matchup, with first touch set for 1:00 p.m. at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus.

Junior Isabella Mazzaferro scored just over 106 minutes into the match, lifting the BGSU women's soccer team to a 1-0, double-overtime victory over Buffalo Saturday afternoon (Nov. 1). The match, a Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinal-round contest, was held at Historic Crew Stadium.

Juniors Emme Butera, Gabby Lamparty and Emma Stransky all earned all-league first-team honors, while Minah Syam was chosen to the MAC's All-Freshman Team.
